Rasmus Wängelin is a design leader with over two decades of experience shaping global brands.
Rasmus is an award-winning design leader with a deep passion for all aspects of design and creative innovation. With over a decade of experience in the design industry, Rasmus has lead design teams, products and experiences for clients such as Spotify, Nike, Google and Samsung.
Currently, Rasmus is the Head of Brand Design at Spotify, where he oversees global brand and marketing design efforts. His leadership, along side his team, has been key in shaping Spotify’s brand identity.
Before joining Spotify, Rasmus spent two years as the Aesthetic Director in fashion and eight years as Group Design Director at R/GA. During his time at R/GA, he was instrumental in elevating Nike's digital brand presence, leading the redesign of key platforms such as Nike Running and Nike Basketball.
His work is characterized by a strong sense of visual language and a keen eye for detail that ensures every element of a design is executed to the highest standards.
Rasmus actively contributes to the creative community by sharing insights and inspiration at events, schools, and through publications. He extends his leadership by serving as a judge for renowned award shows like the Art Directors Club and The One Show and his work has been widely recognized earning numerous prestigious honors, including Cannes Lions, D&AD, The One Show and Art Directors Club.
