Originally from Sweden, Rasmus is a design leader with over a decade of experience in the industry, known for his ability to craft emotionally resonant visual narratives. 

Rasmus grew up influenced by music and skateboard culture, particularly how these subcultures expressed themselves through creativity and design. During the rise of digital-art in the early 2000s, Rasmus developed a keen interest in design, 3D animation, and digital media as a medium of artistic expression. This led him to study new media and design at Hyper-Island in 2004, where he honed his skills and secured an internship at Big Spaceship in New York. There, he spent a year working as a designer and animator for high-profile clients like Universal, Paramount, Sony, and Target.

After returning to Sweden, Rasmus continued to expand his portfolio by designing and animating graphic identities for TV shows. In 2008, he moved back to New York, where he joined R/GA and worked on a series of high-impact projects for Nike. His contributions included bespoke campaigns for athletes such as Kobe Bryant and LeBron James, as well as the redesign of platforms like Nike Running, Nike Basketball, and Nike’s digital presence for the 2012 Olympics.

Following his time at R/GA, Rasmus transitioned into the fashion industry as Aesthetic Director for Ateljé for two years, where he played a pivotal role in building the brand. Ateljé quickly garnered attention, securing placements in major retailers such as Bloomingdale's and Nordstrom and featuring in top fashion publications like Vogue and Elle.

Currently, Rasmus serves as the Head of Brand Design at Spotify, where he leads global brand and marketing efforts. His work has been widely recognized, earning accolades such as Cannes Lions, D&AD, and Webby Awards. Rasmus’s approach is defined by a meticulous attention to detail, a strong visual language, and a deep understanding of user experience, ensuring his designs meet the highest standards of excellence.

Beyond his work at Spotify, Rasmus regularly speaks at design conferences and events, sharing his insights with the creative community. He also mentors aspiring designers, guiding them through the challenges of brand design and helping to shape the next generation of creative talent. 

Rasmus has been a design judge for esteemed award shows like Art Directors Club and The One Show, and his work has earned numerous prestigious honors, including Cannes Lions, D&AD, and Webby Awards.
